The full potential of multimodal interaction.
The goal of Metalogue (Multiperspective Multimodal Dialogue) is a multimodal dialogue system that implements interactive behaviour — natural in feel and flexible enough to exploit the full potential of multimodal interaction. This is achieved through understanding, control and manipulation systems.
Learning to negotiate and decide.
The research focuses on education and training situations in which negotiation skills play a central role. A prototype platform gives learners an interactive environment for developing metacognitive skills, motivation and responsibility in decision-making and argumentation.
The system produces virtual agents with natural interaction — combining English, German and Greek with gesture, facial expression and body language.
